With the grace of Allah, Banan Nursery is embarking on its second year. Throughout the inaugural year, the nursery's dedicated teachers made significant strides in academic areas, notably enhancing English language proficiency and numeracy skills in alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. They also integrated Montessori principles and organized theme-based educational field trips to enrich the children's understanding of the world. Banan Nursery's child-centered classroom setup plays a pivotal role in building the self-confidence of each child while fostering independent learning. The assessment process, initiated at the beginning of each term, enables teachers to identify individual learning styles and tailor lessons in an engaging manner, ensuring that children grasp the purpose of each lesson. In addition to academic development, the nursery places a strong emphasis on instilling social behavior patterns and effective communication skills for interactions with individuals from outside the school. This proactive approach enhances the children's self-esteem, equipping them to confidently face school interviews without hesitation. Notably, in the previous year, children from Banan Nursery's Foundation 1 class successfully gained admission to leading schools in Dubai. Moving forward, Banan Nursery will adopt the British curriculum, specifically the Early Years Foundation Stage. This curriculum recognizes the uniqueness of each child as a constant learner who possesses resilience, capability, confidence, and self-assurance.
