In the world of LEGO® Bricks, encompassing subjects from mathematics to architecture, engineering to physics, educators find a robust platform for teaching, all while utilizing a child's beloved toy. A decade ago, in a living room on the floor of St. Augustine, Florida, a mother and her son embarked on a journey of creativity and construction with LEGO® Bricks. With each satisfying click of the bricks, Michelle began to recognize the substantial learning unfolding before them. With her background in architecture and her passion for design, she soon put her computer-aided design (CAD) skills to use, crafting her own models for collaborative building. Their enjoyment in constructing and playing with these unique models led Michelle to extend this experience to other children in the neighborhood by offering summer camps. Before long, local schools began expressing interest in after-school programs, and children began inquiring about birthday parties and additional summer camps. Within a year, Michelle realized the remarkable opportunity that lay before her—the chance to merge her fervor for engineering and architecture with her entrepreneurial spirit, thus giving birth to Bricks 4 Kidz. As the news of this innovative initiative spread, students, teachers, and school administrators across various regions started requesting programs within their educational institutions. What initially began as a mother's playtime with her son has now burgeoned into a global franchise, spanning more than 500 locations in over 40 countries.
