Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Islamic Institute underwent an inspection by DSIB from 13 to 15 February 2017, resulting in a positive evaluation of the overall quality of education provided by the school, which was rated as good. The inspection findings were segmented into six performance indicators, revealing commendable outcomes in most areas. Notably, the school demonstrated strong performance in terms of student attainment and progress, achieving good results in numerous subjects. Remarkably, the students' achievements in Islamic education were recognized as very good. The development of students' learning skills was assessed as good throughout the school. However, the advancement of research and critical thinking skills was identified as being at an early stage, signaling areas that could benefit from further attention and improvement. One of the school's notable strengths lies in the behavior and responsibility demonstrated by the students. They were observed to exhibit exemplary behavior, particularly in Cycle 3, where they displayed kindness and consideration towards their younger peers. Additionally, the students' personal and social development and their understanding of UAE culture and history were assessed as very good. Furthermore, the students displayed a commendable level of awareness regarding environmental issues and actively engaged with the community. The quality of teaching at the school received a good rating across all levels. However, there is an opportunity for further enhancement in the area of assessment. While the school's assessment practices were rated as good, it was noted that teachers were still in the early stages of developing their skills in analyzing and utilizing assessment information to monitor and support students' learning.
