About
The National American School, established during the academic year 2000-2001, owes its inception to visionary individuals who recognized the need for an innovative, secular educational institution in Zahle. This school, known as N.A.S., has since emerged as a prominent educational establishment, distinguishing itself within the local educational landscape. Situated on the outskirts of Zahle in the heart of the Bekaa Valley, N.A.S. provides educational services from Nursery to Grade 12, encompassing both Lebanese and American curricula, with English as the medium of instruction. N.A.S.'s strategic location has facilitated a diverse student body, drawing enrollees from surrounding villages spanning the breadth of the valley, from north to south. The meticulously structured curriculum at N.A.S., coupled with the unwavering commitment of its faculty members, has yielded outstanding outcomes in Lebanese official examinations, SAT tests, and university entrance assessments. Recognizing the strong ties Lebanese expatriates often maintain with their homeland and original communities, the American System Program has been integrated into the school. This program creates an environment where students of foreign nationalities can continue their education while enjoying a sense of familiarity and maintaining cultural roots, all while upholding a standard of discipline and ethnicity. In alignment with the school's motto, "For a Better Tomorrow, Today," N.A.S. has consistently strived to deliver on its commitment to providing a quality education that empowers students for a brighter future.
