About

The Dubai Iranian Elementary School was established in 1336 as the first Iranian school in the UAE, managed by the Culture Department of the Southern Ports. Initially, the primary school operated in a mixed-gender setting. In the 51st-50th academic year, it transformed into the Abu Ali Sina Educational Middle School, following changes in the Iranian educational system. It continued to operate in a mixed-gender manner until the 59-58 academic year when it separated boys' and girls' schools, leading to the establishment of Bu Ali Boys' Middle School. In 1342, the Dubai Iranian School's high school section began its operations, becoming separate in terms of gender in the academic year 1958-59. It was renamed Shahid Mohammad Baqer High School from the academic year 1959-56. The development of Iranian schools in terms of quantity and quality led to the construction of an independent educational complex in the Qasis area, donated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Emir of Dubai. The complex, built on a 36,000-square-meter plot, features two sections with two floors each, comprising 26 classrooms, a library, a multi-purpose hall, and various laboratories. It also includes computer workshops, sports facilities like a football field, Indian Ball field, volleyball and basketball courts. The complex offers courses in experimental sciences, humanities, and professional sciences, as well as web page designing and development. The school has a high graduation rate, with most students going on to study at prestigious universities worldwide or entering the UAE labor market.

School is upto Secondary School (IX-X) and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The School is a Coed Day School, with classes from KG 1 to X. It is an English Medium school.
