About

Their school, affiliated with the Japanese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, operates within the framework of the Japanese government's program for sending teachers to overseas educational institutions. In collaboration with the Japanese Association of Abu Dhabi, the overseeing body of the Abu Dhabi Japanese School, the school management board, and parents, they actively contribute to advancing the curriculum. Distinguished as the sole Japanese school among the 94 Japanese overseas educational facilities that officially admits foreign nationals, specifically those with UAE nationality, their unique position is a result of a request made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to the Japanese government fourteen years ago. Notably, the school has already witnessed the successful transition of five UAE students, who completed their education at their institution, to high schools in Japan. Furthermore, four of these graduates have subsequently pursued university education in Japan. While this Japanese school stands out for its distinctive role, the dedicated team of ten teachers, dispatched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, wholeheartedly focus on educating Japanese students. In parallel, they collaborate with eight NPO staff members, dispatched by the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, to provide education to UAE children who are seen as potential bridge-builders between Japan and the UAE. Together, they operate a joint educational institution.

School is upto Secondary School (IX-X) and affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The School is a Coed Day School, with classes from KG 1 to X. It is an English Medium school.
