About

Thirty-six years ago, Al Faisaliah was founded by female members of the Royal Family, named in honor of King Faisal. Their primary objective was to establish a unique educational and social environment for their daughters, and as such, the school enjoyed strong support from its royal founders. After twenty-three years, ownership of Al Faisaliah was transitioned to the Ma'arif Education and Training Holding Company. However, the distinctive educational and social atmosphere that sets Al Faisaliah School apart from others has remained unaltered. The school has held approval and recognition from the Saudi Ministry of Education under the registration number 4282310069 since 1977. Its growth has been gradual yet steady, starting with Kindergarten and primary grades and progressing all the way to the twelfth grade. At Al Faisaliah International School (FIS), there is a fundamental belief that learning is a lifelong pursuit. Each individual possesses inherent dignity and worth. The school places students' learning needs as the paramount consideration in all decisions related to its educational programs. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their personal growth and learning. Al Faisaliah School maintains a commitment to providing a safe and respectful environment for all its members. The academic standards are designed to challenge all students, and ongoing professional development for the staff is seen as essential to maintaining school quality and enhancing student achievement. Effective learning is viewed as a collaborative effort involving students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
